The 7th Warm Apple Pie
March 20th 2010 13:59
Intro: Rob, the main guy (Bug Hall [looks like Brendon Urie a little]) fucks a peanut butter sandwich with a dog finishing him off.
That's right! I'm talking about "American Pie Presents: The Book of Love".
Although being one of those straight to DVD type of movies, honestly from the moment I watched the movie I was already pretty damn hyped by the familiar intro music (btw the soundtrack for this film is absolutely amazing) and the outrageous introduction for any American Pie.
3 guys on the verge of losing their virginities set out to... well... lose their virginities! Obviously they fail UNTIL (!!!) they find that "The Bible". But it's ruined and blah blah they fix it up & BAM! Soon enough they're non-virgins! Hurray!
The only reason I initially wanted to watch this movie was plainly because of Lube (Brandon Hardesty). I love his Youtube videos. With absolute no reduction in quality of acting, I loved how he didn't even try to change his aurora just because he got a big break. Very fresh mayne!
As I was talking about Rob at first, he plays the Jason Biggs. The awkward guy with an awkward mum who probably turns out to be a sex god like a certain someone (not going to spoil it for you!). He's delightful. Plays really well into the whole doing crazy crap kind of character.
Nathan (Kevin M. Horton) plays that boring guy from the first American Pie. The one that has a girlfriend and she doesn't really put out, but it's much more worse. And far more boring. I don't have much to say about him!
Okay, I keep talking about characters here but honestly, Stiffler (John Patrick Jordan) pissed me off SO much. His face is so punchable to me. His voice is awesome as a Stiffler but when you combine that with a face like that...not for me. He put me off from the movie everytime that thing (face) came out.
On additional notes:
- Maybe the only dull moment was when they were re-creating "The Bible". Kinda tedious.
- Noah Levenstein (Eugene Levy) making an appearance kept the original pie alive and well.
- And yeah, just like number 1, the whole parent & child talk about sex is one of the funniest scenes.
- Also Lube's little plans to conquer a girl's no-no parts were awesome.
Not a really long review but hey! It's my first day!
OH! Lastly (SPOILER ALERT...well not really) the part where new crappy Stiffler becomes a moose's bitch while he's naked, outside, was my pleasure to watch.
