Patrick Swayze in Dirty Dancing
Though it was not unexpected it is still with sadness when I have to post the a beloved actor has passed on. Patrick lost his brave battle with cancer yesterday morning in Los Angeles. He was 57. He leaves behind his loving wife Lisa and mother, Patsy. I chose the iconic photo shown here from the classic film Dirty Dancing with Jennifer Grey, because who hasn't seen his strong yet loving performance and simply loved the guy. This film was a phenomanon. Women loved him, men wanted to be him! Patrick was also in the classic film Ghost with Demi Moore. Another strong performance.He could dance, sing, and act, a throw-back to an earlier era when our screen stars had to have real talent. Without Patrick Swayze Hollywood shines a little less bright in these days of talentless reality personalities. Patrick please Rest In Peace knowing you are indeed, loved and will be missed by millions the world over.
