Review on True Blood so far...

I haven't been able to watch the finale of Season 3 yet but I have to say that this season has gone so slowly, same with the plot. There were some really great scenes but most of them have been disappointing me and quite frankly I am disappointed overall. When I first watched True Blood, I could not stop watching and kept obsessing with the characters but now, I watch it because I watch it (if that makes any sense). I am wondering if it is just me or other people are feeling it too. Seth is with me on this and he is definitely looking forward to the new season of Dexter. I am too but I am afraid that the story is going to be about Dexter maybe getting caught all the time. Maybe it is because I loved the first season so much!

I think the show has improved each season. This impressed by mining peripheral characters while expanding the main narrative. I really enjoyed the catastrophe's faced by Sam and Tara plus what is being hinted at with Lafayette is also interesting.
From my review of Season 3:
"Werewolves, personal vendettas, mystical reveals and abusive adversaries see True Blood rising above trashy addiction. The black humor is richer, the gore goes from liters to gallons of blood and the sweating eroticism continues to break ground. The southern drawled dialogue dripping in laughs propelling the larger story with tenacious suspense. Right from the season premiere titled “Bad Blood” all that has come before seems like a preamble."

I think as a story overall for season 3 it was crap because it did not really go anywhere except for introducing characters after characters. This chapter hasn't really closed in my opinion, it feels to me that there are more episodes to come in this season. It could be because of the finale but it was more of an introductory season as opposed to a real season such as 1 or 2. Thanks for your opinion and nicely written paragraph, much more professional than mine!
