Official "Alejandro" Music Video

A new short film directed by Stephen Klein featuring Lady Gaga. Lady Gaga never seems to disappoint me! Not only is she a great singer and performer, she is also a genius in making small films. I consider her music videos small films because it is not just a music video but a little theatrical performance evolving around her concepts. Sometimes I do get confused with her implications in the clip. This one was a bit more clear than most of her other music videos I think in my opinion. It was a great performance anyhow and she did channel some Madonna's looks in some of it. It is not like it would surprise most of you but it does explicitly show sexual content (again). It is controversial as usual too. Oh and on the note, rumours are going around that she wants to pose for Playboy magazine so she could widen her artistic work further. She has been a long-time fan of Hugh Hefner's work so she has been thinking about it. It would be interesting but maybe not necessary?

"She likes epics. It fits her personality. We combined dance, narrative and attributes of surrealism. The process was to express Lady Gaga's desire to reveal her heart and bear her soul.
On a music video there is never enough time. We had planned so much and achieved much of that, but of course some of it we were not able due to time constraints.
The politics came out of the story, but was not the official intention."
