Madonnas Adoption Finally Official

Since little David came to the States in 2006, Madonna has been fighting for him to be part of her family. The little boy from Lilongwe, Malawi has pretty much stolen the hearts of Madonna, as well as the rest of the U.S., can you blame us though? If you've seen pictures of this boy, he's a cutie.
David's mother died and his father made the hard decision to put him into an orphanage nearly three years ago. What a lucky kid to go from what could have been a life of hardship and poverty to a life of luxury and love. So why did it take three years for this boy to be officially adopted?
Unfortunately, after arrival in the United States, Madonna was accused of using her celeb status to get around adoption laws. Come on people! For once a celebrity is using her status to do something GOOD! Instead of pulling an OJ.
I could see if they thought Madonna was a bad Mom, or was neglectful to him then they would have a case. But she's not neglectful, she is a really great Mom, and saved that kid from a life growing up in an orphanage.
I don't think people understand what good works Madonna has done in Malawi. She has literally poured millions of her own money, as well as raised millions more, to build orphanages and even an academy that is in the works to teach the disadvantaged children. So get over it! They waived a couple of non-essential requirements for her to be able to get the kid sooner. It's not like she had to sacrifice her first born to get the new kid. I truly think that some people just are not happy unless they are meddling in someone else's life.
