Remaining oblivious to the fact that most guys find it off-putting – the idea of a buxom pin-up girl, known for washing cars in a bikini and saying incredibly naïve things, farting – Jessica Simpson commented again recently on the fact that she breaks wind…a lot.
The 28 year-old “Newlyweds” star, whose freshman country album “Do You Know” debuted at #1 last week, told People Magazine yesterday, “To be my man, you have to put up with a lot. I toot under the sheets, I spend a lot of money and I can belch the ABC's.”
Ok Jessica, the spending lots of money kinda goes without saying, and the belching up the alphabet is great, in a sort of “hang with the boys” kinda way…but farting under the sheets? C’mon
Simpson made the comments while referring to her new long-time boyfriend, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, who she says is “a great quarterback, but he's a better boyfriend. Through all the chaos and torment and everything I go through, I can lay in his arms and finally rest.”
’Resting’ is fine Jessica…just not to the point where you’re making the room stink while doing it!
Simpson, who in 2000 wore a t-shirt in her video for the song “With You” that read “StinkyAss,” made headlines last month, when during an interview with the Niagra Falls Review she stated, “I do pass gas a lot," adding, “I guarantee it smells like roses.”
Where is her publicist? Does she know she’s supposed to be a sex symbol and that farting is considered, universally, not sexy? Could this be the real reason John Mayer dumped her like a full ashtray?
The singer, actress and destroyer of the ozone layer will be appearing this weekend at the Los Angeles County Fair.
