If you are looking forward to seeing Britney Spears perform on the VMAs tonight than you will be out of luck. It has been officially reported by her manager that she will only be opening the show with the British actor/comedien Russell Brand who is hosting.

After last year's fiasco at the VMAs it is a good thing to see she is taking baby steps back into her career.
