Gossip Girl Season 4 "Belles du jour"
September 14th 2010 07:20
Hey everyone,
I just finished watching the new season of Gossip Girl and girl, it was great! For the last few episodes (maybe all of season3), I really did not like Gossip Girl at all. The stories were so pointless and meaningless but now they really did step it up in Paris. I loved it. I can't say enough about the fashion though. It was absolutely amazing and it makes me want to shop as well! As far as the characters go, I will write down my opinions for them one by one.
Serena - hello? Major slut much? Just joking, it was fun seeing her being the 'old' Serena again, trouble-free and fun girl. The only thing that left me puzzled was the outfit (jumpsuit?) she was wearing when she went on a double date with Blair. It is something Lady Gaga might of worn but not Serena on a date with the Prince! Blake looked stunning in this episode.
Blair - same old trouble-causing girl. I liked how she finally admitted her pain inside of her and letting go of that 'I'm fine' image. She really brought back Gossip Girl aura when she pushed Serena in the fountain. That was funny. I also liked that the driver was the Prince, guess she missed out!
Dan and Georgina - I don't think it is Dan's kid. She only made him believe it is his so she can dump Milo there knowing he would be taken care of. Dan should have just taken a paternity test whilst supporting G. Georgina always comes and goes, it leaves me wondering when in the season she will appear again.
Vanessa - ugh, do we really need her in the show?
Nate - still boring but his story line will be much better since he is going out with the new girl. She seems to promise a good plot for Nate and the show. It kind of reminds me a bit of True Blood how Bill was sent to hunt down Sookie. This girl is just trouble, stalking Nate and Serena, and Gossip Girl.
Chuck - didn't see him until the end. Everything was a bit fast but I am sure (I hope) we will see what really happened in the next few episodes. He dropped the ring, why?
Rufus and Lily - Rufus is starting to remind me of Lily's shadow. He has no personality or individuality anymore like he used to.
It was a great episode and cannot wait for more! Woohoo! So glad Jenny is not back in town!
Until next time!
