This time last year it seemed as if her career was all but over. Last year's VMA performance was so bad everyone looked stunned and embarrassed for her. Pretty much everyone had written her off as wash up and over. After all she had spent the better part of two years showing the world what trashy meant by running around with Paris Hilton, who has recently begun trying to repair her own crappy image as a media whore in the worse way, wearing no panties in public and proving it whilst getting in and out of vehicles more times than we want to remember. She surrounded herself with the sleaziest of friends and was so totally out of control her ex-husband Kevin Federline got full custody of the children. She was forcibily hospitilized and court-ordered into the conservatorship of her father.
But what a difference a year makes! This year at the VMAs she looked in shape and in control. Britney won three awards and was the very picture of success. Though she did not perform this year she did present and looked beautiful doing so. Welcome back Britney!
